Microelectronic Research and Development Center of Iran (MERDCI), an R&D organization set up by Industrial Development and Renovation Organization (IDRO) of Iran, is licensed by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology to engage in R&D activities in the area of microelectronics, nanoelectronics and electronic systems particularly as it applies to communication networks, systems and technologies.
