The mission of MERDCI’s Bioelectronics Group is to conduct feasibility studies with the intent to identify viable areas of R&D activities for this nearly non-existent R&D and product development area in Iran and besides, create core expertise in these emerging technologies to deliver state-of-the-art and marketable solutions in the area of bioelectronics.
The Bioelectronics Group offers cost-effective state-of-the-art solutions and services in the following specialized areas:
• Applications of electronics especially micro- and nano-electronics in medicine and biology (e.g. Bio-Chips, Bio-Sensors, Bio-MEMS, etc.)
• Applications of ICT in medicine and biology.
• Technology-driven healthcare systems and solutions.
• Pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals.
The Bioelectronics Group is actively seeking to establish joint projects and/or collaborations through consultancy, R&D, Application, and/or technology transfer agreements with established technology holders and end-users in private or public sectors including those in industry, academia or government.
